Every October, the city of Pilsen celebrates its world-famous beer with one of the Czech Republic's most popular beer festivals. The Pilsner Urquell Brewery hosts a full week of live music, cultural performances, traditional Czech food, and plenty of beer. Visitors can enjoy unfiltered Pilsner Urquell, a special version rarely available outside the brewery. Events take place throughout the brewery grounds, including the main festival tent, the Na Spilce Pub, and the Formanka courtyard. 1. Why isn't Pilsner Fest held in a brewery?

   This year the brewery courtyard is being revitalized to better serve employees, residents, and fans of good beer. Because of this, a large event cannot be held behind the brewery gates. The festival will take place at Republic Square and the adjacent Safarikovy sady. Admission is free this year.

2. Can minors participate in the Pilsner Fest program?

   The event is aimed primarily at adults. Families with children are welcome at their discretion, but sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone under 18 is prohibited. Staff will check IDs when age is in doubt.

3. Are dogs allowed at Pilsner Fest?

   Dogs and other animals are not allowed inside Pilsner Fest tents, except certified assistance dogs.

4. What payment methods can be used at Pilsner Fest?

   Pay directly by card at stands, or use cash to purchase an NFC bracelet that you can top up with credit.

5. What time will Pilsner Fest start?

   The festival runs from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

6. Will the brewery be open?

   Yes. The brewery remains open with regular tours. There is no accompanying program at the brewery.

7. Where can I park if we arrive by car?

   Nearby paid parking: Rychtarka Parking House, Hornbach parking lot, and the lot under the Milenia Bridge. For free parking, consider areas near the Albert Shopping Center or the Baumax Shopping Center. Parking in adjacent streets is not guaranteed.

8. Will it be served in glasses or cups?

   Beer is served in cups at sales stands and in glasses in the International Zone. Cups can be returned where they are served.

9. Will the event take place in inclement weather?

   Yes. Pilsner Fest will take place in all weather conditions.
